Jean M. Wilmes of Foristell, MO passed away on January 14, 2020 at the age of 89. She is survived by her beloved husband Alfred Wilmes; children, Bill (Janice) Wilmes of Flint Hill, MO, Mike (Donna) Wilmes of Flint Hill, MO, Dick Wilmes of Flint Hill, MO, Pat (Ronald "Casey") Koch of Moscow Mills, MO, Rita (Steve) Wortmann of Flint Hill, MO, Tim (Carol) Wilmes of St. Paul, MO Ted (Marilyn) Wilmes of Flint Hill, MO; grandchildren, Gary Wilmes, Rachel Johnson, Krissy Wilmes, Kenny Wilmes, Joe Wilmes, Steven Wilmes, Sheri Loftsgard, Doug Koch, Dana Wernimont, Katy Wortmann, Kevin Wortmann, Kyle Wortmann, Michael Wortmann, Maury Wilmes, Andy Wilmes, Spencer Wilmes, Jessie Hansen, Jake Wilmes, Jenna Wilmes, Jamie Wilmes; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Rothermich, Henry (Norma) Prinster, Bill (Carol) Prinster, Rita (Mike) Black, Ann (Gerry) Ludlow, Marilyn Stuart; brother-in-law, Urban (Marjorie) Wilmes; sister-in-law, Margie (Walter) Tochtrop; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; She is preceded in death by her father, Antoine Prinster, mother, Mamie Prinster, sister, Dorothy Hoeber, infant great-grandson, Lucas Koch. Jean was a member of St. Theodore Church and St. Monica Ladies Sodality. She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mom and Grandma. Her family was everything to her. She was a very compassionate and caring person and used those gifts to care for the sick and elderly. Jean's hobbies included quilting, gardening and music. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
