Obituary
Cornelius "Corny" L. Gloth passed away on December 17, 2019 at the age of 88. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Jerry) Schulte and son, Russell C. Gloth both of Troy, MO; two sisters, Dorothy Stevens, Bertha Gloth, and brother, Harold (Verna) Gloth all of Whitewater, MO; two granddaughters, Ashley (Kyle) Hoppe of Old Monroe, MO, Deb (significant other Aaron Dillard) Topping of WV; two grandsons, Jon (Kristen) Schulte of TN, Jeff (Tamy) Schulte of Old Monroe, MO; 6 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, William L. Gloth, mother, Edith I. Gloth (Snider), Spouse, Dora D. Gloth (Mouser), brothers, Emory Gloth, Cletus Gloth, Arthur Gloth, Eugene Gloth, Clarence Gloth, George Gloth, sisters, Alma Gloth,, Velma Fredrich, and infant sister Zelma Gloth. Corny was married to Dora Dean "Deana" Mouser on July 28, 1956 in St. Louis, MO celebrating 42 years of marriage prior to her passing in 1998. He was retired from General Motors as a supervisor and assisted at Pitman Funeral Home for over 10 years. He was a member of Fairmont Baptist Church in St. Peters, MO. Corny was a lifetime member of both the VFW Post 5651 in New Melle, MO and the American Legion Post 323 in Wentzville, MO. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
