Vernon D. “Popcorn” “Bubby” Jones, Jr. passed away on October 22, 2019 at the age of 70. He was the beloved husband of Brenda Jones nee Hood Balducci of Wright City, Missouri; He is survived by five siblings, Patricia Brasfield of Wentzville, MO, Teresa Ellis of Wentzville, MO, Bonnie Tate of St. Charles, MO, Savannah Jones of St. Charles, MO, Leslie Jones of St. Peters, MO; four children, Loraine Jones of St. Charles, MO, Nichole Jones of St. Charles, MO, Anthony Dewitt (Jessica) Jones of Wright City, MO; children, Angela (Jeff) Miller of Louisville, KY; daughter-in-law, Chrissy Balducci thirteen grandchildren, Jullian Wright, Julius Wright, Desiree Allen, Jason Rowe, Jordan Rowe, Jahnae Huff, Adrian Jones, Meadow Jones, June Jones, Nina Balducci, Sydney Balducci, Gracie Balducci, Valerie Miller; thirteen nieces and nephews, Rashad (Tiffany) Brasfield, Sabrina Ellis, Christopher Ellis, Taronno Jones, Lisa Byrdon, Shereeba Pruitt, Scherry Pruitt, Lawhana Jones, Jeremy Jones, Patricia Atkinson, Tikishia Jones, Tyrell Jones, Ayanna Jones; a host of great nieces and nephews and he was soon to be a great grandfather. He is preceded in death by father, Vernon Dewitt Jones, Sr., mother, Edna Mae Jones nee Luckett, sibling, Scherry Jones, son, Ronnie Balducci. Vernon was employed by General Motors for 38 years. He had incredible woodworking skills, a motorcycle enthusiast, and was a music lover. His greatest enjoyment was celebrating his favorite holiday with a family reunion on the Fourth of July. Vernon took great pleasure in spending time with his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
