Obituary
Raymond "Ray" S. Carney passed away on June 10, 2019 at the age of 67. He was the beloved husband of Dorene Carney (Pancoast) of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his daughter, Vickie (Charles) Ellsworth of Wentzville, MO; his two sons, Michael (Sammi) Carney of Wentzville, MO, Matthew (Andrea) Carney of Wentzville, MO; brother, Ronald (Roslyn) Carney of Irwin, PA; sister, Sharon (Billy) Taylor of Bentleyville, PA; grandchildren, Jonathan, Hallie, Destiny, Randi, Brayden, Ian, Dylan; He is preceded in death by his father, William R. Carney, mother, Erma Louise Carney (Harding). Ray and Dorene cherished 47 years of marriage. He enjoyed model trains, Civil War and World War II history, western movies, especially those with John Wayne, and was an "Elvis" fan. Ray was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Lake St. Louis and the Building Superintendent at the church for many years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
