Obituary
Richard Lynn Lowe was born in 1951 to Diana and Robert. Richard grew up in Indiana with his two younger siblings, Brenda and Randy. He attended Western Kentucky University and was a playful uncle to Brenda and Joe (Wayne)’s three children: Rebecca, Julie, and Brad. Richard married the love of his life, Judy, in 1986 and together they raised three children – Maeve, Andrea, and Kevin – in St. Peters. Richard was a loving and fun dad with high expectations for his children. It was for his children that he started Tae Kwon Do at the World Martial Arts Academy in St. Peters where he eventually became a Master and Instructor. In fact, Richard did pretty much everything for his wife and children, such as weekend trips to see the bald eagles at the river or to fish at a local lake, weekly Blockbuster trips for Friday night movies, and planning family vacations. He and Judy moved to Innsbrook in 2005 to their dream house on a lake where he could fish whenever he wanted and watch his Cardinals games in his recliner by the window. Richard was also a wonderful Opa to Maeve and Zach’s two children, Graham and Selah, and Kevin and Jessica’s two children, Harvey and Oliver. Richard passed away in his home on April 14, 2019 with his wife and daughter by his side. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
