Obituary
Leola J. Schroer nee Macke passed away on February 13, 2018 at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of James Schroer of Wentzville, Missouri; She is survived by her children, Tom (Linda) Schroer of Foristell, MO, Sandy (Ned) Kammerer of Fenton, MO, Cindy (C. Nik) Bushell of St. Peters, MO, Karla (Michael) Molitor of Wright City, MO, son, eight grandchildren, Lauren, Lucas, Logan, Charles J., Joshua (Savannah), Travis, Ryan, Jessica; Sister in Law, Phyllis Macke. She is preceded in death by her father, George Macke, mother, Elizabeth Macke, siblings, Ann (Ernie) Boxdorffer, Albert (Polly) Macke, Frank (Carrie) Macke, James Macke, Velma Macke, Jane Henson, Alma (Ted) Bascom, Buelah Macke, Glennon Macke. Leola just celebrated 57 years of marriage to her wonderful husband. She was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Wentzville, Missouri and was active in the St. Ann's Sodality. She worked as a cook for the Wentzville High School for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, especially her cheesecakes. Leola loved to camp and travel to Florida, where she loved the fresh shrimp. She had a fondness for children especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
