Obituary
Brenda Schwickerath 64, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at home. As per Brenda's request, her family will hold a private graveside at a later date. Brenda Lou (Bradshaw) Schwickerath born to Roger and Ardith (Clapp) Bradshaw on September 19, 1953 in Charles City, Iowa. She attended Charles City High School and then later North Iowa Area Community College where she received her certification in the Secretarial Program. She was married to Tom Schwickerath on February 19, 1972. and they had 2 children, Eric and Amy. In 1983 Brenda and her family moved to Lawton, Oklahoma where she worked as a Secretary to various professionals. In 1990 the family moved to Blanchard, Oklahoma, where Brenda worked for a Psychiatrist office in Oklahoma City. The family then moved to Wentzville, Missouri at the end of 1998 and Brenda worked as an Office Manager for Health South (and then Excel Sports and Physical Therapy). Brenda worked until her health forced her to go on disability in 2014. Brenda is survived by her husband; Tom Schwickerath of Wentzville, Missouri, her children, Eric (Lana) Schwickerath of Omaha, NE; daughter, Amy (Toney) Melchor of Wentzville, MO; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Schwickerath, Brendan Schwickerath, Micah Melchor and Ethan Melchor; aunts, Mary Lou McCauley, Betty Wenzel; and many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Bradshaw, mother, Ardith Bradshaw, sister, Sue James, niece, Jacqueline Nicole James, sister, Kathleen Bradshaw, mother in law, Catherine Duryee, father in law, Wendell Duryee and brother in law, Charlie Schwickerath. Brenda will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
