Obituary
Norman Schroer passed away on January 8, 2018 at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Susann Schroer nee Wortmann of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his two daughters, Denise (Richard) Knaust of Moscow Mills, MO, Cheryl (Craig) Goldberg of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, James (Leola) Schroer of Foristell, MO; Sister, Darlene Bauman of Foristell, MO; four granddaughters, Megan (Aaron) Cook, Amanda (Jared) Morrison, Rachel Knaust, Emily Goldberg; three grandsons, Douglas (Amanda) Knaust, Nicholas (Lindsey) Knaust, Jackson Goldberg; great-granddaughter, Anabel; six great-grandsons, Walter, Wyatt, Maxwell, Samuel, Evan, Logan; He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Schroer, mother, Albina Schroer nee Mueller, brother, Glenn Schroer, sister, Connie Scott. Norman enjoyed 60 years of marriage to Susie Schroer. He was a proud Army Veteran who served our country during the Korean War. Norman was a member of the Wentzville American Legion Post #323 where he actively served during fish fry's, as well as a longtime member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville, Missouri. He had a passion for farming and woodworking. Norman was a very loving husband, dad, grandpa, papa and great-grandpa. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
