Obituary
Irene Ella Leesmann passed away peacefully at home on August 26, 2017 at the age of 74. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Leesmann; She is survived by her daughter, Allison (Roger) Miller of Augusta, MO; son, Christopher (Michelle) Leesmann of Marthasville, MO; three granddaughters, Courtney Miller of San Diego, CA, Kirsten Leesmann of Vandalia, MO, Dacie Hoelscher-Kliewer; three grandsons, Tyler Miller of Washington D.C., Ethan Leesmann of Matrthasville, MO, Grayson Leesmann of Marthasville, MO; two great-grandsons, Carson Hoelscher-Kliewer, Elyott Hoelscher-Thomas; two sisters, Shirley Buxton of Warrenton, MO, Edna (Tommy) Surls of Warrenton, MO; two brothers, Lester (Sharon) Bakameyer of Warrenton, MO, Harold (Phylis) Bakameyer of Marthasville, MO; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Betty Bakameyer, Elaine (Arlen) Kampmann, Delores (George) Shipley, Jeanette Fischer, Jane Leesmann, Richard (Pat) Leesmann, Lester (Paula) Leesmann and Carol (Mel) Dixon. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter F. Bakameyer, mother, Ella Bakameyer, husband, Charles Leesmann, brother, Ralph Bakameyer, brother, Fritz Bakameyer, brother-in-law, Merle Buxton. Irene was united in marriage to Charles Leesmann on May 12, 1962. She was a member of Ebenezer U.C.C. in Augusta since 1963. She was a great seamstress as well as making dolls and custom quilts. Irene enjoyed bingo, playing the slots, but most of all cherished time with her grandkids. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
