Obituary
Milton Frederick "Fred" Drunert passed away on August 21, 2017 at the age of 98 at Garden View Care Center in O'Fallon, MO. Fred was born on July 17, 1919 near New Truxton, MO to Milton F. and Ollie (Keithly) Drunert. Fred was the dear husband of the late Marie (Southern) Drunert, father of the late Marvin Frederick Drunert and Donald Ray Drunert, brother of the late Marjorie Simpson, Marvin Neal Drunert, and brother-in-law Ralph Bothe. Fred is survived by his sisters Marion Bothe and Edna Lix and brother in law Paul Lix, 12 Nieces and Nephews, 12 Great-Nieces and Nephews and 11 Great-Great-Nieces and Nephews and friend and caregiver Susan Wages. Both Fred and Marie were very active in the Masonic organizations and activities with Fred being Past Master of Warrenton Masonic Lodge #609, Past High Priest of Royal Arch Masons, Past Commander of Knight Templars, Knight Priest of H.R.A.K.T.P. and Past Worthy Patron Order of the Eastern Star. Fred farmed for 4 years, operated as a soil conservation contractor for 5 years and spent 27 years as supervisor of Production, Packaging, Warehousing and Maintenance for Chevron Chemical Company before retiring in 1978. He was an avid fisherman on Missouri's lakes and streams as well as documenting the Drunert family history.
