Asleep in Jesus. James W. Kohler passed away on February 16, 2017, at the age of 68. He is the beloved husband of Wanda Kohler nee Blair of Wentzville, Missouri. He is survived by his daughter, Amy (Mike) Fridley of Wentzville, MO; son, Michael Kohler of Wentzville, MO; two brothers, John Kohler of Defiance, MO and Jerry (Jackie) Kohler of Owensville, MO; two sisters, JoAnn (Bob) Post of Defiance, MO and Jane Adelmann of Defiance, MO; four grandchildren, Justin, Vika, Luke and Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Michael Kohler and Elsie Marie Kohler nee Bechtold. James was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in O'Fallon, Missouri. He enjoyed baseball, basketball and was an avid player of Dartball. He was an active farmer and pork producer. James was the owner of M&J Construction in Defiance, Missouri. He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed.
