Rose Mary Dames passed away on February 11, 2017 at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of Gene Dames of St. Paul, Missouri. She is survived by her son, Jack (Kim) Dames of Marthasville, MO; three daughters, Nancy (Mike) Scarry of St. Paul, MO, Jo-Ellen (David) Majewski of St. Paul, MO and Sherree (Julius) Talbert of St. Paul, MO; brother, Bob (Karen) Groeblinghoff of Groton, SD; daughter-in-law, Sondra; sister-in-laws, Joan and Nina, 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and several other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Francis Groeblinghoff nee Haislip, four brothers, Wilbur Groeblinghoff, Harold (Betty) Groeblinghoff, Joseph Groeblinghoff, Jr. and Edward Groeblinghoff, sister, Theresa Cross and grandson, Steven Conoyer. Rose Mary married Eugene Dames August 30, 1950 in St. Paul, Missouri, on her parents farm. She was a life long member of St. Paul Parish and active in Ladies Sodality. Rose Mary enjoyed bowling, coaching softball and dancing. She was the owner of Dog Prairie Tavern in St. Paul, Missouri. Rose Mary enjoyed watching sports, having fun with the family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
