Obituary
Mary Frances Rootz nee Boczek passed away on January 13, 2017 at the age of 64. She was the beloved wife of Fred Rootz. She is survived by her two sons, Pat (Rebecca) Hossenlopp and Robby Rootz; two daughters, Theresa (David) Gauvin and Trisha (Windy) Woodard; brother, Wally (Barb) Boczek; sister, Judy (Tom) Murphy; four grandchildren, Madison, Max, Lem and Willow, several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Anthony Boczek, mother, Mildred Catherine Boczek nee Bumb and former spouse, Terence Hossenlopp. Mary and Fred were married for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending many breakfasts with her loving husband at Bob Evans. She loved attending her grandson's hockey games and watching her granddaughter acting in theatre. Mary was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She loved the holidays, especially Christmas time. She liked dressing up, wearing her jewelry and going to out lunch, especially with her daughter, Theresa. Mary cherished time with her family, especially her grandkids, nieces and nephews. Mary enjoyed baking cookies for the local police. She was a kind person and a friend to everyone. Mary beat the odds, never complained and loved her physicians who helped her battle cancer. She had a strong relationship and love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
