Obituary
Margie J. Dixon nee Wilson passed away on December 22, 2016 at the age of 86. She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth (Janice) Dixon of St. Charles, MO and James (Margo) Dixon of Defiance, MO; two daughters, Terry Waters of Branson, MO and Janet Dixon of Moscow Mills, MO; two brothers, Kenneth Wilson of Defiance, MO and Tommy Wilson of Springfield, MO; two sisters, Dorothy Dilday of Defiance, MO and Ruth Heck of Defiance, MO; five grandchildren: Rebecca, Jessica, Jamie, Ashley and Aaron; three great-grandchildren: Silas, Jensen and Eli and former spouse, John K. Dixon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dave S. Wilson and Dorothy Wilson nee Brown, dear friend and companion, George Brinkmann and three brothers, Leonard Wilson, Dave Wilson and Gail Wilson. Mrs. Dixon was a parts inspector for Boeing for 15 years. She also was a volunteer for Wings of Hope since 2000 and was known as the "pie lady". Margie was a Sunday School teacher at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Defiance. She enjoyed gardening and had been awarded "Garden of the Month", in Defiance, MO. She liked sewing and made bridesmaid and prom dresses. Margie was an active Sudoku player. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
