Sherrill Gould passed away on November 18, 2016 at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of Charlotte Anderson nee Owens of Wentzville, Missouri. He is survived by his son, Brad (Diane) Gould; son, Phil (Leah) Gould; daughter, Karen (Jeff) Dzekunskas; step-son Earl (Sandy) Anderson; step-daughter, Nicole (Tom) Fowler; four grandsons, Jeremy, John, Brandon and Cayden; six granddaughters, Jenna, Bethany, Meagan, Erika, Karrie and Payton and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Gould and Alma Gould nee Forrester, two brothers and two sisters.
After completion of high school, Sherrill served in the U.S. Navy. He lived in Troy, Missouri for most of his adult life, where he was a businessman and entrepreneur – some of the various businesses he owned and operated include The Drumstick and Chubby’s restaurants, Gould/Cremeens Chrysler and Gould Auto Sales, Gould Furniture Co. and Gould’s Truck & Trailer Sales. Sherrill enjoyed working around the farm, raising cattle & horses, country music and dancing, and travel - particularly to Colorado and Texas. Most of all Sherrill enjoyed his time spent with family and friends – from holiday get-togethers to regular weekly gatherings in town for coffee or dinner & laughs with friends. He was a wonderful Papaw and will be dearly missed by his family & friends.
