Obituary
Lemoin Shepherd passed away on September 29, 2016, at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 24 days. He is survived by his daughter, Diana (Michael) Jones of Wentzville, MO; two sons, Gregory (Nancy) Shepherd of Troy, MO and Todd (Cheryl) Shepherd of Arkansas City, KS; three grandchildren, Cassandra (Trendt Francis), Jereme (Jessica) and Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Katie, Cody and Mason and friend, Beverly Phillips. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Shepherd nee Baker; parents, William "Dugan" Arthur Shepherd and Marsha Mae Shepherd nee Denton; sister, Catherine Humphrey; brothers, Leman Shepherd and Carl Shepherd. Lemoin was the owner of Shepherd Brothers Transmission in Wentzville for 30 years. He proudly served the country during the World War II era in the Navy. While enlisted, he learned to play the guitar which became his passion. He had a band called "The Sunshine Ramblers" and they entertained residents of nursing facilities for 30 years in the Wentzville and Troy areas. His other hobbies were hunting and fishing with his father-in-law. Lemoin and Pansy were united in marriage in 1948. He was dearly loved and will missed by many.
