Obituary
William "Bill" Meury passed away on August 30, 2016, at the age of 73. He is the beloved husband of Dona Meury nee Hillmann of Wentzville, Missouri. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Marie (Issac Madison) Meury-Madison of Wentzville, MO; son, Todd Cameron (Jennifer) Meury of Warrenton, MO; daughter, April Anita (Charles) Reichardt of Middleton, MO and daughter, Angie (Paul) Oswald of Florissant, MO; sister, Norma Brakensiek; six grandchildren, William Meury, Tiara Meury, Dillon Reichardt, Ravyn Williams, Julia Meury and Brooke Reichardt; one great-grandchild on the way; one sister-in-law, Goldie Ebert; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William George Frederick Meury and Ada Alice Meury; sister, Anita Nieweg, sister, Joyce Grapenthin; sister-in-law, Agnes Orf, brothers-in-law, Ralph Grapenthin, Erich Brakensiek and Ralph Ebert. Bill enjoyed fishing and was an avid reader of western novels. He had a strong bond with his children and took his grandchildren on trips every summer. He also enjoyed barbecuing, listening to old time country music, spending time by a bonfire while enjoying the great outdoors and had a love for all animals. He gave his grandchildren their first gun and pair of cowboy boots. Overall, he cherished time with his family and friends. He was very patriotic and had a strong love for his beloved country. His memory will live on in the hearts of many.
