Obituary
Jack L. Robertson, age 77, a resident of Rolla, Missouri, (formerly of Wright City, Mo) passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield, Missouri. Jack was born in Carl Junction, Missouri, the biological son of Harry Fredrick and Dorothy (Doty) Weir. Jack, his sister and brother were given up for adoption at early ages. Jack and his sister Barbara were adopted by Russell and Imogene Robertson of Jamesport, Missouri. Jack served in the Air Force from 1956 to 1960 and was stationed at Westover Air Force Base, Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts. Jack married Peggy Macrander on July 8, 1957 in the chapel at Westover Air Force Base. Jack worked and retired from Boeing Aircraft, Lambert Field, St. Louis, Mo., where he installed electrical and radio systems on the Phantom and later on the Harrier aircraft jets for the United States Military. He was a member of the Olive Baptist Church, Jamesport, Mo. He attended Tri County High School in Jamesport. Jack loved anything outdoors, living in the country, camping, quail and pheasant hunting, trout fishing and mowing grass for his neighbors until ill health forced him to curtail his activities. Jack is survived by his wife, Peggy, one daughter and son in law, Vicki and Scott Bourland of House Springs, Mo, one sister Barbara (Larry) Hill of Lawson, Mo, one brother Frank Floyd of Columbia, Mo., several cousins, nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion Chen Ho.
