Obituary
William Louis Rittenberry passed away on May 27, 2016, at the age of 83. He is the beloved husband of Barbara Rittenberry of Wentzville, Missouri. He is survived by his son, William Samuel (Carol) Rittenberry of Old Monroe, MO; three daughters, Cynthia King (Cotton) Calahan of Shelbyville, TN, Kim Lee (Mike) Koonce of Wentzville, MO, Rebecca Lynn Rittenberry of Shelbyville, TN; sister, Helen Croslin of Mobile, AL; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Rittenberry and Evelyn Leona Rittenberry nee Lewis; brother, John Paul Rittenberry and sister, Mary Jane Rittenberry. William was a policeman with the Wentzville, Foristell, Truesdale and Lake St. Louis police departments. He owned the Rebel Truck Stop in Wentzville in the 60's. He was a supervisor for Coin Acceptors Company in St. Louis. He also worked for the Atomic Energy Commission. William was a member of the Pauldingville Masonic Lodge and a Schriner with the Scottish Right. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Wentzville. He was also a member of the following organizations: Holiday Rambler Motor Club, NRA, Goldwing Roadriders and The Retreads. He is loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
