Mitchell Rhodes passed away on April 4th, 2016 at the age of 56. He was the beloved husband of Diana Rhodes of Troy, Missouri. He is survived by one brother, Michael Rhodes of Foristell, MO, and two sisters: Patricia (Bernie) Siler of Troy, MO and Melissa Bowman of Fremont, CA. Mitch was greatly loved by two nephews, five nieces, four grandnephews, three grandnieces, and one great grandniece. He was grandfather to one grandson, one granddaughter and was expecting two additional grandchildren.
Mitch followed in his fatherís footsteps working as a bricklayer as a member of Bricklayers Union Local #1 of St. Louis, Mo. He valued hard work and took pride in the work he did. He was born with a passion for racing and would rather be at a race track than almost any place else on earth.
Mitch was loving, caring, opinionated, argumentative and stubborn. He was not shy about giving his opinion and was known to argue with you even when he knew he was wrong. It was his stubbornness that kept him fighting the last few weeks of his life to stay with the ones he loved.
Mitch smiled constantly, laughed easily and found humor everywhere. His goofy facial expressions, silly sarcasm and sincere love for family and friends is greatly missed.
