Obituary
James "Larry" Lawrence Daly passed away on March 27, 2016, at the age of 75. He was the beloved husband of Mary Daly of Wentzville, Missouri. He is survived by his three children, Deanna "DeeDee" (Greg "Jug") Miller, Cherie (David) Lewis and James L. Daly, Jr.; sister, Norma Hickman; brother, Kenneth (Eleanor) Daly, brother, Charles (Judith Strauss) Daly, sister, Judith Pyle; five grandchildren, Tanner, Jake, Jessalyn, Wil and Wes; four great-grandchildren, Gavin, Kalvin, Landon and Rylan; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Dorothy Daly nee Bowser; brother, Carroll Daly, sisters-in-law, Rose and Verna Daly and brothers-in-law, Jim Pyle and Robert Hickman. Larry proudly served our country in the Marine Corps from 1960-1966. He worked for several years as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed riding his Harleys, fishing, playing cards and was a comedian and ladies man. Larry also served as Commander of the Wentzville VFW for several years and participated in acquiring the helicopter that is located in front of the VFW. Larry will be missed by many family and friends.
