Obituary
Vinita Mary Vannier nee Hardin passed away on March 12, 2016, at the age of 93. She is survived by her six children, Harold (Jeanne) Vannier, Merrell (Fran) Vannier, Darrell (Sue) Vannier, Dennis (Sue) Vannier, Anita (Larry) Davis and Cleve Vannier; two brothers, Ura and Norman Hardin; two sister-in-laws, Patsy and Marion Hardin; brother-in-law, Jimmy Veates; many grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Vannier; parents, Grover Cleveland Hardin and Ivy A. Hardin nee Weber; brothers, Linville, Harold, Randall and Eugene Hardin; sisters, Nina Garner, Velma Veates and Oleta Ramsey. Vinita taught middle school English for thirty years in Iowa and Wentzville. She was a member of Eastern Star and loved quilting, knitting, bowling and especially watching Cardinals Baseball. As a child, Vinita was involved with plays and as an adult, she directed musicals and plays at Wentzville Middle School for numerous years. She also wrote for the Mountain Grove, Missouri newspaper. She always had a smile on her face and will be missed by family and friends.
