Obituary
Ralph A. Peine, age 88 of Wentzville passed away Monday, February 8, 2016. Ralph was born at home in Flint Hill, MO to the late Francis & Mamie Peine on October 22, 1927; He was married to the late Geraldine Freymuth (nee Wortmann) December 29, 1956 at St. Patrick’s Church in Wentzville. He is survived by his three daughters, Marilyn J. (Alan) Schwendemann of Wentzville, MO, Donna S. (David) Peine-Metzger of Wentzville, MO, Debbie L. (Doug) Noonan of Wentzville, MO; twin sister, Ruth (Tony (deceased)) Freymuth; two sisters, Mildred (Ray (deceased)) Ebert, Mary (Gale) Osborne; He is the dearly beloved grandfather of Ricky and Marley Schwendemann, Jeremy, Jason, and Michael Metzger, Danni Cass, and Nicholas Noonan. He is preceded in death by brother, Raymond Peine. Ralph worked for the RR a short time and owned ˝ a lumber mill business before serving 2 years as a corporal in the army at Fort Richardson, Alaska. Among all of this, his true love was farming & gardening which he did the rest of his life. He would go down to the farm everyday no matter the weather or how he was feeling. He loved to be outside working, whether it was the cows or baling hay. He also hauled livestock, etc. for several years for himself and others. Even though he was a quiet man, he was strong, simple and hardworking with a mischievous side, but he was one to never complain (except when it rained on the hay). He reached out to many people with love & touched their lives. He was a kind & generous father, and he will always be our hero.
