Obituary
Orville J. Sachs went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 6, 2016, at the age of 93. He is survived by his four daughters: Madonna (Joel) Tyser of Mexico, MO, Mary (Norton) Evans of Columbia, MO, Marie (Vince) Glenville of O'Fallon, MO and Marlene (Tony) Long of Chesterfield, MO; brother, Bertram Sachs of Wentzville, MO; sister, Jane (J.D.) Butner of O'Fallon, MO; 16 grandchildren: Megan Shifrin, Brielle Bayless, Jared Tyser, Alayna Abbate, RyanTyser, Svetlana Tyser, Dakota Evans, Josh Evans, Cole Evans, Audrey Wheeler, Austin Glenville, Andrea Glenville, Adam Glenville, Alyssa Glenville, Christina Long and Nathan Long and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Pauline Sachs nee Dickherber; sister, Luella, and three brothers, Earl, Maurice and Clarence. Orville served his country in WWII Signal Corps. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post #323 in Wentzville. He enjoyed fishing, yard work, being with his family and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He was a carpenter, excellent craftsman and he worked hard at everything he did. Orville was a man who had great faith in his Lord Jesus Christ. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
