Obituary
Virgil C. Post passed away on August 28, 2015 at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband of Marcella Post nee Ell; He is survived by his two sons, Donald V. Post, Kevin A. (Renee Betlach) Post; two daughters, Nancy K. (Jerry) Linneman, Diana F. Post, one daughter-in-law, Mary C. Post ; two sisters, Ruth Ell, Gladys Kullman; four grandsons, Joe (Linda) Linneman, Bob (Christy) Linneman, Gary (Kim) Post, David S. Post; three granddaughters, Dawn (Jon) Ridgeway, Rosemary (Marc) Elmer, Pamela Post; six great-granddaughters, Melissa Linneman, Katherine Linneman, Alli Ridgeway, Jacqueline Ridgeway, Kayla Elmer, Lainey Post; three great-grandsons, Joey Linneman, Ray Ridgeway, Collin Elmer; He is preceded in death by his father, Aloys H. Post, mother, Frances M. Post, wife, Marcella H. Post, son, David E. Post, sister, Alice Young. Virgil was married to Marcella Ell on August 28, 1948 in Cottleville, MO. He was active in his faith, he was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville for over 50 years. Virgil was a member of St. Gianna Church in Wentzville and active in the Knights of Columbus. Virgil enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He was an avid Allis-Chalmers tractor collector and loved spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
