Obituary
Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. Bernard Lee Mintert passed away on June 7, 2015 at the age of 77. He is the beloved husband of Mary Mintert nee Geiben of Wentzville, Missouri. He is survived by his four children: Laura (Doug) Swenson of Castle Pines, CO, David Mintert of O'Fallon, MO, Kathy (Bill) Howell of Columbia, MO and Jim (Joanne) Mintert of Wentzville, MO; grandchildren: Jessica Swenson & Emma Howell; step-grandchild, Kaylee DiPasquale and special family friend, Carol Insalaco. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edwin & Hildegard Mintert nee Saale and brother, Edwin Mintert. Bernard was united in marriage to Mary Geiben on November 4, 1961. He was a former member of the West Alton volunteer fire department, and a long time member of Immaculate Conception Church in West Alton, Missouri. Bernard loved his family, farming, and hunting and fishing on his farm. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
