Obituary
Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. Anna Marie Gibbons nee Kurth passed away on May 28, 2015 at the age of 82. She is the beloved wife of Thomas "Tony" Gibbons of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. She is survived by her three sons: Timothy Gibbons of St. Louis, MO, Michael (Karen) Gibbons of St. Louis, MO and John (Jacalyn) Gibbons of St. Louis, MO; three daughters: Katheryn (George) Laur of Jefferson City, MO, Patrice (Bruce) Gwydir of Lake St. Louis, MO and Bridget (Donald) Fox of St. Louis, MO; two brothers: Jerome (Elizabeth) Kurth of Edina, MO and Thomas (Jane) Kurth of Edina, MO; sister, Dorothy Rogerson of Kirksville, MO; 13 grandchildren: Bryce, Jessica, Lauren, Thomas, Sean, Megan, Clayton, Nathan, Trenton, Pauline, Alissa, John and Mary and 3 great-grandchildren: Taylor, Callie and Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents: Norbert & Alice Kurth nee Karhoff. Anna was married to Thomas Gibbons on April 23, 1951 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edina, Missouri. She was a member of St. Patrick Parish for 35 years, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and sailing. Anna was a devoted wife and mother, and her main delight was most definitely her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Her love for her family, zest for life and sense of humor will always be remembered. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
