Irving was born in Trenton, New Jersey on March 15, 1923 and peacefully passed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on April 14, 2015 while at home in Wright City, Missouri. Irving was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, his wife Fran, daughter Sarah, and his son Bill. He is survived by his two daughters Hope (Doug) Kraus of Marceline, Missouri and Liz Lawler of Wright City, Missouri, his sister Jean Boyer of Avondale, Pennsylvania, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He proudly served our country in the armed forces overseas during WWII and the Korean War. Irving loved God and his family, living life fully. He and his bride Fran traveled the world with their friends. Irv and Fran were scout leaders for their children and their friends. He loved gardening and planting trees, starting “Heritage National Forests” where ever he lived. Pitman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. A private memorial service will be held on May 16th.
