Obituary
Lawrence (Larry) Joseph Witte, Jr. passed away on March 30, 2015, at the age of 82. He is survived by his two sons: Lawrence "Joe" (Cindy) Witte III of Wichita, KS and James August (Jennifer) Witte of O'Fallon, MO; daughter, Victoria Lee (Ted) Kazanski of Wesley Chapel, FL; four brothers: Francis Witte of Moscow Mills, MO, Stephen (Mary) Witte of O'Fallon, MO, Michael (Holly) Witte of Traverse City, MI and Jerry (Maria) Witte of Warrenton, MO; sister, Mary (Don) Jaeger of O'Fallon, MO; 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Ann Witte nee Brewer; parents: Lawrence J. Witte, Sr. & M. Catherine Witte nee Bates; daughter, Elizabeth May Witte and brother, Paul Witte. Mr. Witte was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville and a member of the Wentzville American Legion. He served as a past chairman for the Planning & Zoning Commission of St. Charles County. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a former member of the Wentzville Rotary Club. Larry loved the Wentzville Community. He was a very generous person with time, treasures and talents. Larry loved his family, his friends, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
