Wanda M. Allen Rattles Adkins Dyer 81 of New Florence, MO left this world February 10, 2015 from New Florence Nursing and Care Center, New Florences, MO. She was born near Hawk Point, MO on March 25, 1933. Services will be held Friday, 12:00 Noon at Pitman Funeral Home, Jonesburg, MO with interment in Hawk Point Cemetery, beside her deceased husband Pedro where most of her family is laid to rest. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 13 from 9:00-12:00 at the Pitman Funeral Home, Jonesburg, MO. Wanda was mostly a homemaker and mother, working some in factory’s before and after raising her children. Wanda and Pedro were both baptized members of the Jonesburg Baptist Church. A few years after Pedro’s deceasement, Wanda had church services in her home –namely- “The House of Prayer” in which Kevin Kelley ministered there and with his family, also began a food program there, in Jonesburg as the church grew “The House of Prayer” was moved into larger quarters on Main St. Of Jonesburg which the Kelley family obtained. After a few years this was discontinued and in searching for a church home, Wanda wound up with The Church of Bro. Gene Hall, Kathy and friends, in Warrenton, MO where she continued going happily until moving to Monett, MO, due to health and crippling disorder where 5 of her children lived to see over her. Upon moving there, she began attending and became a member of the Assembly of God church under the ministry of Bro. Greg Gillam & Cheri and making many friends there. Wanda was married to Harold Rattles in 1951, to which 5 children were born, Jimmie H. Rattles, Connie Fargher (husband Hank Archer), Debbie Webb, Lavonne Belcher (husband Mark Newman), and Wm. (Billy) Rattles. (Harold preceded her in death in 1997) After a divorce of this marriage in 1964, Wanda was married to Tom Adkins (also preceding her in death 9-20-2005) to which one daughter Nancy Newman (husband Russell Newman) was born making 6 children. Also surviving are 57 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren., nephews Darrell Barton, Alan Pfister and familys; many beloved cousins, uncles, aunts and many loving friends. In 1980, after separation and divorcement, Wanda was married to Pedro Dyer, who preceded her in death in 1986. Wanda was also preceded in death by her dad and mom (Bill and Floy Allen), infant sister, sister, Juanita Pfister and brother in law George Pfister, son, Jimmie H. Rattles, 13 yr old grandson Chuckie, and 2 infant grandchildren. Also was very saddened and left alone, in the death of a dear friend and companion Edward Easley in 1998. Now it was mom’s time to go.
