Obituary
John Robert Fay passed away on December 31, 2014 at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of Joan Fay nee Bixler of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; He is survived by his six sons, John David (Susan) Fay, Allan (Anne) Fay, Paul (Robyn) Fay, Stephen Fay, Damian (Jennifer) Fay, Christopher (Natalie) Fay; two daughters, Alice (Stefan Jarausch) Fay, Erin (Steve)Schatteman; brother, Louis Fay; Grandchildren, Elizabeth Engelbrecht, Rachel Redburn, Micaela Bickel, Matthew Fay, Ashley Fay, Alyssa Fay, Andrew Fay, Collin Fay, Lucas Fay, Lorrin Schatteman, Elaina Schatteman; Great-grandchildren, Carmen Bickel, Ryan Engelbrecht, Jackson Engelbrecht, Olivia Redburn; He is preceded in death by his father, James Fay, mother, Alice Fay nee Tierney, brother, Thomas Fay, brother, James Fay, sister, Margaret Simon, sister, Theresa Emmons, sister, Mary Taylor. John was a former president of S.K.A.L International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Kentucky Colonel. John married Joan on April 29, 1961. He served the country from 1955-1958 in the Army. For 31 years John worked for Eastern Airlines, the majority of that time was based at Lambert International Airport in St. Louis, as a station manager. He enjoyed golfing, playing basketball and big band music. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
