Obituary
Duane John Manor passed away on July 2, 2014 at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband of Linda Manor nee Williams of O' Fallon, Missouri; He is survived by his seven children: Rosanne (Jack) Tabaska, John Manor (Dena), Renee (John) Day, Michelle (Don) Lewis, April (Jeff) Wielms, Grace (Ryan) Cornett, step-daughter, Cheryl Crowell; two brothers: Wilbur (Alice) and Richard (Kathy) Manor; sister-in-law: Marge Manor; 14 grandchildren: Kirsten, David, Amber, Karen, Tia, Krystal, Maranda, Luke, Stephanie, Dustin, Shawna "Lizz", Kevin, Brittany and Michael; 2 great-grandchildren, Leyla & Cale and numerous other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: John and Pauline Manor nee Theulen; brother, Michael Manor and grandson, Austin. Mr. Manor was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Josephville, Missouri since 1975. His favorite saying was "It can be done." Duane was a very generous and caring man. He loved animals especially his schnauzer, Duke. He was very much a farmer at heart. He built a merry-go-round, that was run by a Maytag Ringer Washer motor with the help of his friend, Marvin Miller. The merry-go-round was used at various church picnics in the area for many years. He also was a clown at the church picnics. He enjoyed gardening and he built his own home. Duane and Linda were married on September 27, 1985. Duane retired from McDonnell Douglas after 38 years in 1995 as a Mechanical Electrical Radio Technician "M.E.R.". He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
