Wesley Grant Chronister passed away on June 2, 2014 at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of Paula Chronister nee Underhill of Foristell, Missouri; He is survived by his four sons: Steven Chronister of Altoona, PA, John (April) Chronister of Rockton, IL, Wesley G. (Mary Beth) Chronister of Tucson, AZ and Matthew (Elizabeth) Benjamin of Ann Arbor, MI; five daughters: Jeanette (Gary) Carmody of Joliet, IL, Jacqueline (Ross) Myers of Greenville, IL, Joy Stickley of Batavia, IL, Jennifer (Steven) Treatman of Wentzville, MO and Christina (Joseph) Conway of Streamwood, IL; 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Edgar and Ida Mae Chronister nee Frederick; son, Wesley C. Chronister and six brothers & sisters. Mr. Chronister was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and United Methodist Men. He was retired from the United States Navy. He was a MSCS (SS) Retired, USN and served as a Dive Officer. Wesley was also involved with the Wentzville Optimist Club and Business Men's Bible Study in Wentzville. He was a member of the New Melle VFW Post # 5651. He volunteered at the St. Louis Retired Activities Office at Lambert. Wesley and Paula were married on December 23, 1978 in Traverse City, Michigan. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
