Mrs. Margaretta Elizabeth “Dolly” Frauenhoffer Hart, age 84 years, of Jonesburg, MO., passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the New Florence Care Center with her family members at her bedside. She was born August 13, 1929 in Jonesburg, MO, the daughter of John and Katherine Schmidt Frauenhoffer. She was a 1947 graduate of Jonesburg High School. She was united in marriage to Harry T. Hart on November 27, 1947 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Jonesburg, MO. Dolly was a devoted wife and mother and, along with Harry, organized many church dinners at St. Patrick’s Church. She was a 63 year member of the Jonesburg Canasta Club, a lifetime member of the Jonesburg Historical Society and a friend to many. Dolly was a loving mother of three children, Kerry L. Hart (Donna) of Jonesburg, MO, Susan L. Hart (Angie Roberds) of Columbia, MO and Dianna “Dee Dee” Shelton (Jay Shelton) of Jefferson City, MO. In addition to her husband of 66 years and their three children, she is survived by six grandchildren, Corey (Kayla) Hart, Kristin Hart(John Mitzak), Kate Shelton, J. Ross Shelton, Lucas Hart Roberds and Benjamin Hart Roberds. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, John (Carol) Hart of Princeton, MO and many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Frauenhoffer and Ted Frauenhoffer and a sister Elizabeth Frauenhoffer. Friends will be received from 4:00-7:00p.m. Monday, May 26, 2014, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Jonesburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Fr. Russell Judge officiating. Burial will follow in the Frauenhoffer family plot of St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Jonesburg Historical Society.
