Obituary
Mr. Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Floyd nee Wooldridge, 2 sons, Michael (Carol) Floyd of O'Fallon, MO, Mark (Erica) Floyd of Troy, MO; 4 daughters: Marla Floyd of Wentzville, MO, Mona Eaton of Union, MO, Marilyn (Donald) Chapman of Union, MO, Sherri (Jim) Cornelius of Wentzville, MO; brother, Jerry (Hazel) Floyd of Conway, AR; 4 sisters: Audrey Welch of Oklahoma City, OK, Lena Swain of Farmington, MO, Inia Parks of Poplar Bluff, MO, Bridgett Presson of Farmington, MO; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Rosa Floyd nee Williams, brothers: Thomas Floyd, Jr. and James Floyd, sisters: Norma Wyllia, Katheryn Valenti and Wilma Floyd. Mr. Floyd served in Germany during the Korean War, 7th Army, 8th Battery of the 66th Division. He was a dedicated member of Cornerstone Apostolic Church. He was a school bus driver for the City of Wentzville for 7 1/2 years and he retired from General Motors after 30 years. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd were married on November 21, 1954 in Hernando, Mississippi. He was also an avid gardener and fisherman. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
