Together with wife Dee, he was Steve of “Steve’s Plumbing Repair” and sponsored Wentzville’s T-ball for Developmentally Disabled Children in the late 80’s as well as two disabled bowling leagues. He also assisted at Cerebal Palsy track meets, and with horse “Cassie” behind scenes with Therapeutic Horsemanship, as well as parades and school Spirit Week, Bondfire assistance to Jackie & Illini Mustang "Tang". Steve enjoyed taking the girls fishing when he could. He retired in 2003 as a journeyman plumber and job foreman for Plumbing Planning Corp. in St. Louis, through Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562. He touched the lives of many.
