Sandra (&Bill) Kenney
Bill and I wanted to say how fond we both were of Mike. He was so kind to both of us, to the Villa Home owners and his neighbors. He talked to highly of his family and of his wife, Cathy. He was so positive, patient and loving. He was so proud of his family and his grandchildren. We will miss him so much as we saw him a lot. If any of you ever need anything, please let us know. Our sincere condolences and sympathy are with you during this time of loss, and we have been and will be praying for all of his loved ones.

Our sympathy to all of Mike\'s family. We were a part of Mike\'s JCP family and he will be missed by so many.
I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the Clausen family. Working for Mike were the best years of my time with the Penney company. He was a person of high standards and demanded the best from all of us. I will truly miss him.
I am sorry I will not be able to attend the service. Rest in peace Boss.
On behalf of the North Central HCSC Organization (of JCP Retirees), we send our sincere condolences to you all in the loss of Mike. We missed him at our Gathering just a couple of weeks ago and was aware that some health issues were taking place. We signed and directed a card to him. Mike was very involved in the \"retirement\" aspect of his life, enjoyed golf and was very kind to all. Please know we will be including Mike in our Memorial Services conducted at our Gathering and a donation will be directed to the National HCSC Foundation.

For the past 50 years Mike has been a close friend, business associate and confident. To Mike\'s sons, Mike Jr, Tim and Todd whom I have known most of those 50 years - your father loved and was so very proud of each and every one of you as well as your families. We will miss Mike a great deal, especially our weekly conversations and frequent get togethers. Mike can now re-unite with the love of his life, Cathy.
God Bless you Mike
I cannot , in any way, express my appreciation for Mike\'s friendship over the last 50 years. We have laughed together and cried together; I loved the man deeply. I can only be consoled by knowing that he is in paradise with his beloved Cathy. To his family, my prayers are with you at this difficult time. May God, in time, grant you his peace. Scott Frahlich
To the family of Mike Clausen,
We were so sorry to hear of Mikes passing and express our sincere sympathy. Mike was so proud of the \"boys\" as he used to say, the daughter in laws and the grandchildren. With Mike it was all about family, JCPenney family and his love of sports, primarily golf. I first met Mike in 1979 and a great JCP partner he was. He was also a very loyal friend. In fact, I knew his dad first, as we were in the same JCP District in 1969.
The good news is now Mike is with his beloved wife Cathy whos death he never got over. Overtime MANY positive memories will live on in a new and meaningful way.

I\'ve known Mike for most of his business career with JC Penney and enjoyed my friendship with him and his wife Cathy. I was sorry to hear of his passing - he was definitely one of the \"good guys\" in business and on the golf course. Rest in peace, Mike.

Carol and I want to express our sympathy to the Clausen family. We knew Mike and Cathy for the 16 years we lived in Innsbrook. I was priviliged to play golf and poker with Mike all those years and to have participated in the Innsbrook Toys for Tots with he and Cathy. We missed Cathy and now we will miss Mike as well. Great guy!! I, Carol, wanted to add that Mike always was such a gentleman in every sense of the word. He showed powerful love, care, and great affection for Cathy. It was an honor to have this man in our lives. We will miss Mike very much. May he rest in peace.
