Linda M Schmitt
FOR MY DAD
By Linda M Schmitt
Frog ponds and fishing
Waiting for Santa and wishing
A love for nature and the trees
Listening to the sound of the breeze
Snow forts and sleds
Our dance the day I wed
When I wanted a fifth of Jack
You always had my back
I will always cherish my days at Little Dixie Ice
Working with you was nice
You always knew when I skipped school
You taught me to play pool
I learned to shoot a gun
Even it was just for fun
You served our country and that makes me proud
My dad is an Army Veteran Ill shout out loud
Catching bait at the creek
Crawling around in Beenys cave for a peek
Getting my first car
Paying for part of it with $150 of change in a jar
I have a million more happy memories of you
I hope they are enough to get me through
I will miss you every day
There is another thing I\'d like to say
I love you dad
You were the best pop a girl ever had
My deepest condolences to the whole family. Had a great time growing up at your house. Smitty could always make me laugh.
Dear Marilyn, my deepest sympathies to, you and your family on your loss.
Love knows no time or space... it lives in the heart, and never fades.
Wishing you the peace and comfort of never-ending love.
With Deepest Sympathy,
your friend, Heide Niffen
Dear Marilyn and family, I am so very sorry to learn of Sonny\'s passing. My thoughts and prayers are being sent your way. May your happy memories soon replace all the sadness you are feeling, I\'m sure Sonny would want that.
May God bless you all.
My deepest sympathy,
